JOIN OUR FIGHT

Fairness for Fire Victims is fighting to help survivors of the 2015-2018 Northern California wildfires recover 100% of what they lost.

In the span of only four years

24 fires destroyed over 23,000 homes

and killed more than 130 people

Fairness for Fire Victims is a grassroots coalition of survivors of the Northern California wildfires of 2015-2018. In the span of only four years, 24 fires destroyed over 23,000 homes and killed 130 people or more.

In that time, more than 71,000 people suffered a total of $20 billion in damages from these fires. Our homes, our businesses, and our entire communities were destroyed. Unfortunately, the Fire Victim Trust, which was established to compensate us for these losses, is only $14 billion, leaving a nearly $6 billion shortfall.

Together with our allies, we are fighting to recover 100% of our losses through a common-sense solution: access to the California Wildfire Fund.
